Qaran Express is a partnership company founded in October 2005 by a group of individual shareholders living both in/outside the country. The overall purpose of establishing this company is to fill in the money-transferring niche and compete for a share in the growing transfer market used by the large Somali population in the Diaspora in the absence of national banking system. There is no doubt that setting up this company is going to be highly beneficial to the community not only in terms of services but also in the economic regeneration it will bring.

Qaran Express has got four main aims:
